The arena’s “Philips Experience” brings guests face-to-face with a wide variety of Philips products in fun and exciting ways. From the simple touch activated visitor information systems to the massive 107 “big screen” video-wall, the attraction is designed to overwhelm your senses with a dazzling array of color, movement, sound and interactive attractions. The “Slam Dunk” basketball game lets fans of all ages become Superstars. The hoop is set to the perfect height for the guest to slam the ball through the net. The image is captured by sixteen Philips cameras and played back on a giant, three-sided, 9’ x 30’ Philips projection screen. “Interactive Alley” lets guests sign onto a variety of Internet sites including Philips, Atlanta sports and Turner Broadcasting, viewing them via Philips projection systems. The “Shot on Goal” provides fans the opportunity to view a hockey game from the vantage-point of the goalie via Philips 3-D imaging technology.
