Robotics is advancing at an astounding rate. Here is one example: control a dexterous robot hand by wearing a simple glove. The hand is sensitive enough to pick up an egg without breaking it.

Night Lights

An outstanding example of the combination of existing technologies in a creative way to interesting ends. This window display for Hermes by Tokujin Yoshioka makes video displays of faces appear to cause actual scarves to flutter.

Jaime Oliver from UCSD has created what he calls a  Silent Drum controller. This fascinating device allows users interact with sound by manipulating a stretched membrane.
