Microsoft Channels High Energy Tactics To Drive Traffic


To reinforce its commitment to its 5,000-plus worldwide partners, Microsoft held a four-day conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center with keynotes from top executives, 130-plus breakout sessions, hundreds of hands-on labs and demos, networking opportunities, and awards ceremonies.

Each morning, the first keynote addresses were kicked off with high-energy video presentations and live music that pumped up the crowd. Partners were incorporated into the executive introductions as well, with mini case study videos about their success stories, an effort to tie them into the event.

More than 5,700 people attended, surpassing Microsoft’s goal; award submissions were up 125 percent from the previous year; and attendees gave high marks to keynotes, breakouts, and the overall event.
