Android Controlled by Android - Google IO 2011

In The Field

Audio speakers in public gatherings and events can be less than exciting architecturally and often are deliberately hidden from view. The Ologic company solved this problem in a novel way for Google's 2011 IO event. They constructed a robot filled with audio speakers that allowed users to control its movement as well the music it played via an Android-powered mobile phone. A less fancy consumer model of the robot is also in the works and will priced at about $300.
